À propos de l'événement
Sophie and Kim invite you for aritual in motion: 108 sun salutations to celebrate the autumn equinox!
Theresun salutation (Surya Namaskar) is a dynamic sequence of positions and movements performed in a certain order with awareness of the breath.
Welcome to a space with complete simplicity, to activate thevibration magic through yoga, breathing, music.
The 108 sun salutations are atraditional and meditative ritual, the practice will be punctuated by 9 series of 12 salutations.
Each greeting is a repetitive movement that represents the connection between Heaven and Earth. This practice allows you to refocus,anchor and to mark the entry into a more interior period: autumn. This invitation gives flexibility to the spine, re-aligns and allows you to drink thestrength of the physical and symbolic light of the sun.
Each series will begin with aintention who will accompany us and support us physically and mentally during the practice and during this new 3-month cycle.
The number 108 is considered sacred in Hinduism, Jainism and Buddhism and it relates the Earth, the Moon and the Sun, moreover:
1 = unit 0 = nothing 8 = infinity
And so 108 represents the Whole.
Sophie will be your guide in the movement and Kim supports him musically. You will be encouraged by meditative chants, mantras as well as magical sounds of medicine music.
Sophie, born in Lausanne, has been living in Mexico for almost 4 years where she did her yoga training. She has been guiding the 108 sun salutations during the equinoxes and solstices for 2 years now. Her yoga teaching is gentle and respectful of each person's body, the goal being to reconnect with yourself and learn to love yourself as you are.
